The "Too Cool for School" documentary, seeks to provide a comprehensive view of home education by showcasing the diverse approaches to home educating techniques. We are actively seeking families to participate and share their experiences, both positive and negative. To provide a well-rounded perspective on home education in the UK. We are particularly interested in hearing from families who may have children with special educational needs or disabilities. Families who live on a low income who have found cost effective and innovative ways to home educate their children. We would also love to showcase families who are travelling and taking the world schooling approach to home education and families who have children who are in both traditional school settings as well as children who are home educated.

Our ultimate goal is to create a memorable documentation of the home educating community, and highlight the amazing diversity within it. We want to highlight some of the struggles we face as a community such as lack of funding and limited alternative formal educational opportunities. We invite you to join us in this exciting project and be a part of something special. Filming will take place from 21st of July 2024 onwards .

Participants must note that some filming may be done within their home and also at selected locations. Successful applicants may be contacted within 7 days.
